Five Beauty Double-Duty Foods

Hello, everyone! Today I’m going to talk about certain foods that can be used for beauty purposes! So, without further adieu, here are some deliciously succulent, edible beauty products!

1. Cinnamon

I always use cinnamon on my lips in order to give them an Angelina Jolie-like pout! After exfoliating with a toothbrush or lip scrub, I wet my lips and apply a small about of cinnamon – it gives my lips a bit of a microdermabrasion while making them nice and full! Top you lips off with some balm, gloss, or colour and pout away!cinamon

2. Banana Peels

Banana peels can be used to whiten teeth! When you’re finished with your banana, simply take the peel and rub the inside of it against your teeth!Banana-Skin-300x198

3. Coconut Oil

This tropical oil is not just good for cooking; it is also hydrating and super good for your hair and skin! You can use it as a body lotion, as a hair mask, or even add another food – brown sugar – to it in order to make a luxurious body scrub! Yummy!NF-July30-Is-Coconut-Oil-Good-For-You-460x200

4. Avocados

This omega-3 fatty acid rich fruit will leave your friends green with envy when they see your skin. Mash an avocado, mix it with some sour cream, and apply it like a facemask. Avocados can slow the aging process, as they stimulate the production of collagen and elastin!avocados

5. Coffee

Coffee pulls water out of skin, so it can be used around eyes to de-puff them in the morning, and it can also be used to help treat cellulite! Overall, it gives skin a smoother appearance, so you can drink your Starbucks and wear it, too!r-ALCOHOL-USED-COFFEE-GROUNDS-large570

Have you heard of or tried any of these double-duty food beauty products before? Do you use any other foods as beauty products? Let me know in the comments!
